Ianardo the Artist
Real name Ian Strange and born in 1966 (UK). Art has been a life-long hobby. The large majority of my artwork has been done with pencils or coloured pencils, which are ideal for the very detailed artwork that I enjoy. I used to specialise in classic car portraits (and the occasional railway drawing) which gave me plenty of experience of doing intricate detail. Apart from a few art classes at school, I have not had any formal training.
Coloured pencils are also ideal for reproducing soft skin textures of the soft subject-matter of this gallery. The delicacy of the shading can't be fully appreciated on a computer monitor.
I am currently self-employed doing freelance art - BBWs a speciality!
Since going online, I have been very keen on "size-acceptance", i.e. trying to make the world a better place for plus size ladies. From a personal point of view, I wanted to understand the reality (and considerable variety) of the lives, problems and issues of BBWs. It is rewarding to get to know the personalities, rather than simply admiring the beauty. Hopefully, the inner beauty and character of each lady in this gallery, shines through to the surface.
